Funeral service will be 2 pm Saturday, October 7, 2023 at Adams EE Stringer Funeral Home in Kirbyville with burial at Magnolia Springs cemetery. Visitation will begin at 12 pm prior to service.
Born November 15, 1950 to Clayton Brown and Margaret (Thompson) in Beaumont, she worked as a nurse for Jasper school district.
She is survived by husband, Steven Moody of Brookeland; children, Noah Herrin of Brookeland, Matthew Herrin of Brookeland, Marsha Askew and Lance of Buna, Kaya Morgan and Kris of Houston, Jennifer Ponton and Ryan of Kirbyville, Jamie Moody and Sarah of Kirbyville, Jeana Marshall and John of Kirbyville; brothers, Chester Brown of Kirbyville, Gary Don Brown of Kirbyville; 12 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by parents; sister, Brenda Holloway; brother, Tommy Brown.
