Sharisa Hively Obituary Sharisa Hively of Warsaw, Indiana passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, January 28, 2025, at the age of 56.
She was born to Darrell and Elaine Hively. Sharisa loved her dogs Sadie, Willow and Thor and spent hours watching live cams of the Brown Bears of Katmai National Park, Brooks River in Alaska. Her passion was animals, and one of her best rescues was a dog named "Gunner". He instilled her favorite motto, "Animals save us as much as we save them." Sharisa greatly enjoyed being able to help rescue, care for and release wildlife in the years she was physically able to.
She is survived by her mother, Elaine Hively and Stuart Thompson, her beloved three dogs, one god daughter, niece, nephew and cousins. She was preceded in death by her father, one brother, both sets of grandparents, and Gunner and Sadie, her beloved dogs.
Sharisa's life will be celebrated privately by her family with a graveside service at Oakwood Cemetery in Warsaw. Arrangements were entrusted to Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw, Indiana.
