Sharita "Rita Rita" Traynor

Sharita "Rita Rita" Traynor, 39, of Bardstown, passed away Friday, August 29, 2025. She served on the safety and activities committee at Autokiniton. She attended Western Kentucky University and taught numerous dance classes there and taught hip-hop aerobics at fitness one. Rita enjoyed motivating people and did so by podcasting and social media. She loved consignment shopping and a good deal. Rita was a very loving and supportive aunt to all her nieces and nephews, and was a very proud mom throughout all seasons of her son Caden's life.

She was preceded in death by her step-father, Jerry Studdard; and her grandparents.

She is survived by her mother, Debra Studdard, of Bardstown; father, Gregory (Cynthia) Traynor, of Louisville; son, Caden Traynor; father of their son and friend, Prentiss "P.J." Calbert, both of Bardstown; bonus daughter, "MiMi" Calbert; two sisters, Toya Traynor, both of Louisville and Dorothea Traynor, of Bardstown; one brother, Antron Livers, of Louisville; three nephews, Stephan Traynor, William Hines IV, and Jayden "J.J." Traynor; one niece, Samaura Traynor; close family friends, Brittany Hall and family, and Dennis Allen and family; and a host of family and friends.

Her funeral service will be 1 pm Saturday, September 13, 2025 at Barlow Funeral Home, Rev. Dr. WanKeith L. Smiley officiating. Visitation will be 10 am - 1 pm Saturday September 13, 2025 at Barlow Funeral Home. Cremation will follow services.
