Sharon Aday

Elizabeth Sharon Aday was born in Luling, Texas on July 16, 1941 to Cleburne Thomas Sutton and Lillie Mae Laird Sutton. She peacefully passed away to be with the Lord on January 26, 2026 at 1:26 a.m. at her home in Irving, Texas. Memorial services will be 12:00 noon on Sunday, February 8, 2026 at Wade Funeral Chapel in Hubbard, Texas.

Sharon had a love for life that shone brightly through the years in her passions. She found immense joy in spending time with family and friends while having a cup of coffee or glass of tea. Playing dominoes and cards with family and friends, working a garden, sharing meals, playing with grand kids and great grand kids. She loved roses, moon flowers, hibiscus, rose of Sharon, passion vine, and crape Myrtle's in particular. She loved couponing for groceries and finding all the deals. She thoroughly enjoyed garage sales and thrift finds and shopping at the mall. The little treasures she would constantly find would regularly leave her feeling like a lotto winner.

Sharon is lovingly remembered by her family and friends as a woman who enriched the lives of those around her. Her spirit will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her. Sharon's legacy will certainly continue to be celebrated and honored.

She is survived by sisters, Eva Mae Maultsby and Peggy Joy Jones; sons, Jimmy Ray McBride and Kenneth DeWayne McBride Sr;. grandchildren, Brandy Lynn McBride, Kenneth DeWayne McBride Jr and Bobbie Kay Aday; great grandchildren, James Salvador McBride, Victoria Mariana McBride, Grace Elizabeth McBride, and Cierra Coleman and many more nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She is preceded in death by the love of her life and late husband, Charles Delaney Aday, precious daughter, Kay Lynn McBride, her sister, Jo Gail Phillips and brothers, Jack Bland Sutton and Clyde "Shorty" Wayland
