Sharon K. Allen, 86, of Fulton, passed away peacefully on March 17, 2026.
She was predeceased by her husband of 63 years, Jerry, in 2022; her father, Robert Ford; her mother and step-father, Dorothy and Kenneth Pratt; and her brother, Jerron Pratt.
Sharon was raised in Hannibal, NY, and in 1958 moved to Fulton after her marriage. She was an employee of the Fulton School District Food Services for many years. Later in life, she became a hairdresser and co-owned and operated Allen’s Unique Boutique with her daughter Kathy.
Sharon was an avid sports fan who enjoyed watching and supporting her three daughters and four grandchildren as they competed athletically throughout their high school and college years. She especially enjoyed bowling and golf. She was a 32-year member of the Oswego Country Club and an inductee of the Fulton Women’s Bowling Association Hall of Fame.
Sharon is survived by her three daughters: Tamie Allen; Kathy (Mike) Fitzpatrick; and Annette (Ron) Cotton, all of Fulton. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Curt (Molly) Fitzpatrick of Hamilton, NY; Craig (Alex) Fitzpatrick of Fulton, NY; Kay (Nate) Driscoll of Victor, NY; and Cameron (Michaela) Cotton of San Luis Obispo, CA; as well as ten great-grandchildren: Collins, Oliver, and Cooper Fitzpatrick; Quinn and Connor Fitzpatrick; Rory and Declan Driscoll; and Charlie, Rose, and Mae Cotton.
Sharon is also survived by her beloved brother, Gary Ford, and a sister, Sandra (Joseph) Blanchard.
She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. We love you and will miss you, Meemaw. Rest in peace.
Calling hours will be from 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm on Saturday, March 28th at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay Street, Fulton with a service to follow at 3:00 pm.
