Our dear life partner, mom, daughter, sister, auntie, and friend Sharon Marie von Nida -Ard sadly and unexpectedly passed away in her sleep on Saturday December 2, 2023, at her home in
Florissant, Missouri. Shar was 59 years old.
Sharon was born in St Louis, to Sharon (Pat) and Ernst J. von Nida on April 23, 1964. She was their 5th child. Shortly after Shar was born the family moved to Florissant where she grew up and has spent her entire life. She graduated from Hazelwood West High School.
Sharon was truly the most remarkable person that you could have welcomed into your life! She was an amazing life partner, a devoted mother, an over the moon dedicated daughter, a wonderful friend and most importantly she was someone that everyone could depend on and did! Sharon had the biggest heart and more love to spread around than you can ever imagine.
She will be missed by many, especially her life partner Raymond Strini, her sons Patrick (Nicole) Ard and Shayne Ard (fiancé Catie Womer). Shar is further survived by her mother Sharon (Pat) von Nida, sister Susan (Paul) Turowski, brothers Stan von Nida, Scott (Kelly) von Nida and David Strini. She leaves behind many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many, many friends. Sharon was preceded in death by her father Ernst J von Nida, brother, Steven von Nida, in-laws, Raymond Strini, Sr., and Jacqueline Strini and brother Edward Strini.
Sharon's funeral will be at Hutchens Mortuary and Cremation Center in
Florissant, MO (675 Graham Rd). Visitation will be held from 4-8:00 PM on Thursday, December 07, 2023, with funeral service to be held on Friday, December 08, 2023 at 11:00 AM.
