Obituary of Sharon Ann Bartusek
Sharon Ann Fox Bartusek was born on March 30, 1942 to Samuel J. and Winnifred G. (Coleman) Fox.
She was raised and attended school in Minneapolis. She was united in marriage to Ronald V. Bartusek in Minneapolis on October 13, 1962. They had two children: Michael and Lisa. Highlights of her life include but are not limited to:
Working at restaurants as a cook. Singing in the choir at The Church of the Nazarene in Spring Lake Park, MN.
After moving to the Elk River area; she joined the Elk River United Methodist Church in 1999. She was active in small groups and was passionate about Experiencing God and the Disciple courses. She also took on the responsibility of planning and cooking the Wednesday night suppers for many years.
Sharon moved to Guardian Oaks in Elk River and was a resident there until October 24, 2022 when she moved to Guardian Angels Care Center. Sharon enjoyed all the social interaction that was provided there, especially Bingo and crafts.
Triniti Hospice created a new joy for life. She now had many new experiences including: personal nursing care, massage, music therapy, personal visits by a new friend, chaplain and more. She was a great friend to them as they cared for her.
On Sunday, December 17, 2023, Sharon entered her eternal rest at the age of 81 years, 8 months and 16 days. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Samuel Patrick Fox, and daughter Lisa Marie. She is survived by son, Michael Bartusek (wife: Lisa) of Ventura, Iowa; grandson Joshua Bartusek (wife: Heather); granddaughter, Amanda Bartusek; great grandchildren: Emilee Lynn, Rylee Marie, Jace Jonathan and Wyatt Allen
