KENDALLVILLE - Sharon M. Blanton, 78, of Kendallville, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 11, 2025.
She was born on Aug. 19, 1947, in Fort Wayne, Indiana, to Sidney M. and Betty B. (Singleton) Smith.
Sharon married Larry D. Blanton on July 25, 2004, in Waterloo, Indiana, and he survives in Kendallville.
Sharon was a machine operator for Hudson Industries in Ashley for more than 15 years, retiring in 2010.
Also surviving are a son, Kevin J. (Pamela) Brown, of Cecil, Ohio; five grandchildren, Kirby, Dario, Brittney, Randall and Heaven; 11 great-grandchildren; eight siblings, Elia VanDyke, of Spencerville, Elvia (Sonny Bun) Stickney, of Butler, Elda (Carl) Collins, of Edgerton, Ohio, Elisa Castillo, of Butler, Ella Sue Vires, of Butler, Betty Ann (David) Stockwell, of Copperas Cove, Texas, and Roel Moreno, of Altona; several nieces and nephews; and the family dogs, Val and Neko.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Sidney Smith II and Fernando Moreno; and a brother-in-law, Pryce Vires.
Visitation will be held from 2-5 p.m., on Saturday, Nov. 15, 2025, at Feller and Clark Funeral Home, 875 S. Wayne St., Waterloo.
A private burial will take place at a later date at Scipio Cemetery in Harlan.
