Sharon Louise Bochart

a61-b90b-4b5904e2c38c.jpg" border='0' vspace='2' hspace='10' align='left' valign='top' style='max-width:120px;'>Sharon L. Bochart, 87, of Kearney. Neb., passed away Monday, Dec. 8, 2025, at Brookestone Gardens in Kearney.

Sharon Louise Herrmann Bochart was born Feb. 16, 1938, in Creston, Iowa, to Frederick and Louise Herrmann. She graduated from high school in 1956 in Greenfield, Neb.

In 1959 she married Garold Jr Bochart. To this union was born two children - Denise (James) Larsen of Kearney and Deb (Bill) Walton of O'Neill. They divorced a few years later.

Sharon is also survived by seven grandchildren and many great-grandchildren - all of whom she loved and adored.

In 1969 she received her Bachelor of Arts in Education while caring for her two young children. She taught in Superior and Ord before she decided teaching was not her calling.

Sharon then moved back to Broken Bow where she was employed at Jennie M. Melham Hospital for 35 years to support herself and her girls.

Sharon's hobbies included music, swimming, square dancing and spending time with her grandkids. She was a member of Countryside Christian Church.

Sharon was preceded in death by her parents; brother James Herrmann; and a special aunt and uncle Bryson and Eileen Kelly.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m., Friday, Dec. 12, at Countryside Christian Church with Pastor Jeff Nielsen officiating. Burial will follow at Riverdale Cemetery. Visitation will be an hour prior to the services on Friday.
