Sharon Bosell Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Washburn-McReavy Funeral Chapels Northeast Chapel on Apr. 15, 2025.
Sharon L. "Ant" Bosell (née Pearson), age 86, passed away peacefully on April 12, 2025, in New Brighton, Minnesota.
Born on August 3, 1938, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, Sharon was the daughter of Bermetta Holt and Richard Pearson. From a young age, she demonstrated a strong work ethic and a warm spirit that would define her life. While still in high school, she began her working career at Honeywell. A few years later, she joined Northern States Power (NSP), where she built a lasting career and eventually retired.
Sharon shared her life with her beloved husband and high school sweetheart, Richard-affectionately known as Dick, Sonny, or Bosey. They were united in marriage on 10/18/1957. Together they raised their son, Todd. Her family and extended family and friends were the center of her world, and she loved spending time with them.
Known for her kindness and sweet nature, Sharon touched the lives of many through both her actions and her creativity. She had a passion for making homemade greeting cards and was an active participant in Stamp Camp, where she crafted beautiful cards that brought joy to countless recipients. She never missed sending cards for all occasions.
Sharon embraced life with energy and grace. She was an avid reader. She loved shopping and going out for lunch or dinner with family and friends. She also enjoyed relaxing with a nice glass of White Zin-never a red wine that "tastes like kerosene." She and Sonny enjoyed many summers at their cabin on Pine Mountain Lake in Backus, MN. She dearly loved all of her friends from the Backus area. She has a group of girlfriends (there are 7 of them) who she has managed to maintain a close relationship with since high school.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her sisters, Bev and Nancy; She is survived by her husband Richard and son Todd, several nieces and nephews and extended family, and many loving friends.
