Sharon "Shi" Danetta Bradley was born on November 4, 1951 in Nashville, TN to Lawrence Bradley and Lorene Marshall-Bradley. She transitioned peacefully at her home on Monday, March 11, 2026 surrounded by family. She gave her life to Christ at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Moses Herring in Nashville, TN. She later joined Liberty Christian Bible Church under the pastoral leadership of John O. Williams, Jr where she served as the overseer of kitchen operations, decorations committee, custodial functions, and a faithful choir member of the Voices of Liberty.

Sharon was educated in the Metropolitan Nashville Public School system where she was a proud graduate of the historic Pearl High School, Class of 1969. She later attended and graduated from Falls Business College. Sharon began her career at Meharry Medical College and later transitioned to Tennessee State University where she retired after 36 years of dedicated service.

Sharon enjoyed spending time with her family, traveling, playing board games, interior design, and systemic organization.

Sharon is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Lilly Alsup-Marshall and Thomas Marshall and paternal grandparents, George Bradley and Lucy Winters-Bradley; her father Lawrence Bradley; and brother, Dexter Bradley. To honor her legacy, she leaves to cherish her memory: son Kevin (Annette) Bradley; daughter Sharonda (Alvin Sr) Carney; grandsons Alvin Jr and Aiden Carney; granddaughters Allante and Amari Carney; and granddog Sparkle Carney; mother Lorene Bradley; sisters Deborah (John) Williams, Trina Bradley, and Angel Bradley; nephews Michael Berry, Terrence (Chelsey) Bradley, Darius Bradley, John O. (Shannon) Williams III of Fairfield, OH, Daniel (Sharlyn) Williams, and David (Not'ashia)Williams; nieces Shameka (Marcus) Left and Courtney Bradley of Fort Washington, MD along with a host of great nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.
