Sharon Rae "Sherry" Buskov

Sharon Rae "Sherry" Buskov, 79, a long-time resident of Dodgeville, passed away Thursday, February 8, 2024, surrounded by her close family.
For 30 years, Sherry was a CNA at local facilities, providing loving and caring support for those under her watchful eye. She was an avid animal lover her entire life. Not only did she take in stray animals but people as well. She was a second mom to a few people through the years. Family was always important to her, and once she got to know you, you were family. She always had a kind smile and loving hug when it was needed.
She will always be remembered for her love of cooking. She spent many hours cooking for family and friends.
Sherry is survived by her husband, Mike Buskov; son, Albert Pontbriant, III (Jill Blabaum); stepdaughter, Mindy Buskov; brothers, Don Miller and Butch (Greg) Hardy. She is further survived by close personal friends Janet Skews, and Jessica and Nick Watters.
She was proceeded in death by her parents Lewis and Agnes (Hardy) Miller; son, Joey Pontbriant, and stepson, Alex Buskov.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 17 from 10 AM until 11 AM at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 630 Ridge Ave, Platteville, WI.
