Sharon A. DeMeyer, 77, of Milan passed away Saturday, December 23, 2023 at her home.
Private funeral services will be at Rafferty Funeral Home, 2111-1st St A, Moline. Entombment will be at Calvary Cemetery, Rock Island. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to
American Lung Association.
Sharon was born July 23, 1946 in Davenport, the daughter of Elmer and Nellie (Gilbert) Seibert. She married Sam L. DeMeyer on October 1, 1966 in Bettendorf, IA.
Sharon retired in 2000 from the Rock Island Arsenal after 25 years. She enjoyed quilting, travelling and attending her grandchildren's activities.
Survivors include her husband, Sam; children, Stephanie (Jay) Irwin, Taylor Ridge and Scott (Holly) DeMeyer, Rock Island; grandchildren, Logan Irwin, Grace (Noah) Grems, Trey (Kallie) DeMeyer, Hunter DeMeyer and Cassidy DeMeyer; great-grandson, T.J. and sister, Donna Klundt, Rock Island. She was preceded in death by her sister, Frances Duskin.
