Sharon Lynne Dennis passed away at the age of 82, on January 23, 2026, in Amarillo.
Celebration of life will be 11:00 am Friday, January 30, 2026, at First Baptist Church of Panhandle. Cremation is under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Panhandle.
Sharon was born at Camp White Military Hospital in Medford, Oregon to Homer and Minnie Lee Reynolds. She was raised in Childress, Texas. After high school she moved to Amarillo and lived with her grandparents R. H. Sims, Sr. and Susan Sims. She worked as a candy striper at St Anthony’s Hospital. In 1961, she married the love of her life Tom Dennis. She was the farmer's wife and mother of two daughters, a meemaw to two grandsons and six greatgrandchildren and aunt to numerous nieces and nephews, as well cousins.
Preceding her in death are her parents; husband; grandparents; and brother, Ronnie.
Surviving are daughters, Rhonda Gardiner, Deborah Cipolla-Dennis and (JoAnne); grandsons, Thomas Gardiner (Tonya), Travis Gardiner; six great grandchildren Allie, Izzy, Ethan, Charlie, Zeke, Cole and grand dog, Patch.
