Sharon L. Donath

Sharon “Tuffy” (Van Tol) Donath, 84, of Mooresville, IN (formerly of Brazil, IN) passed away peacefully surrounded by family on June 22nd, 2024 at The Gathering Together Hospice Care in Plainfield, IN. She was born March 29, 1940, in Grand Haven, Michigan. The daughter of the late Leslie Joseph Van Tol and Marjorie Ann (Crouse) Van Tol. She graduated High School in 1959 from Schulte Catholic High School in Terre Haute. 

Sharon spent much of her time with family and friends, but primarily her grandchildren who were the light of her life. 

Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Sandra Behnke, a brother, Larry Van Tol, a son Gregory Dean Donath, and a nephew David Fowler. She is survived by her husband, Don, daughter Barbara (Mike) Weaver, and son Bryan (Toni) Donath. She is also survived by her sister Bonnie Fowler; six grandchildren, Cameron Weaver, Nick Weaver, Chloe Weaver, Christian Donath, Hannah Thomas, Olivia Thomas, and one great-grandchild, Gracelynn Thomas.
