Sharon Kay Doolittle, age 55, of St. Louis, MI left us to be with her son Charlie on Saturday, April 6th, 2013 at her home. Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes St. Louis Chapel on Tuesday, April 9th at 11:00 A.M. Mr. Keith Wise will officiate. Burial will take place at Chapel Garden Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday from 2-8 P.M. with family present from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. at Smith Family Funeral Homes. Sharon was born in St. Johns, Michigan on May 4, 1957, the daughter of Frank and Stella (Gurski) Karek. She graduated from St.Johns High School with the class of 1975. She married Charles Doolittle on May 29, 1976 at the St. Louis Church of God. Sharon loved to cook for her family and friends; enjoyed playing euchre, flower gardening and crocheting. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and being a part of their lives. She is survived by her husband Chuck Doolittle of St. Louis, MI; mother Stella Karek of St. Johns, MI; daughter Cindy Doolittle and Brad Bethka of St. Louis, MI; daughter Christy Doolittle and Anthony Rodriguez of St. Louis, MI; son Craig Doolittle and Christine Wagner of Alma, MI; son Chad Doolittle and Haileigh Koontz of St. Louis, MI; 6 grandchildren Brison and Madison Doolittle, Brea and Landon Bethka, and Alexys and Alexander Rodriguez; brother Tom and Pat Karek of St. Johns, MI; brother Bob and Linda Karek of St. Johns, MI; sister Shirley and Roy Davis of St. Johns, MI; sister Jean and Jack Cuthbert of St. Johns, MI; many nieces and nephews; and special friend and neighbor Tiffany, Keith, Taelisha, and Danny. Sharon was preceded in death by her father, a son Charlie Jesse Doolittle, a brother and sister-in-law, Frank and Cathy Karek, and an infant sister Maryann Karek. Memorials may be made to Pardee Cancer Treatment Fund.
