Sharon Lee Edmonds, 90, of Indianapolis, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on June 28, 2025.
Sharon was a devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and a phenomenal waitress whose kindness touched everyone she met. She had a love for adventure and was especially fond of cruising the seas—Hawaii being one of her favorite destinations. Sharon was also a fierce and fun-loving card shark, known for her unbeatable poker face and love of games. Her generosity and compassion for her community were just as remarkable as her sharp wit. She truly was a kind and giving soul.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lee and Viola Gold; her husband Carl Edmonds and her brothers, Steve (Rose) Gold, Gary Gold, and Richard (Shirley) Gold.
Sharon is survived by her sister, Sandy (Doug) Buchman of Eau Claire, WI; her daughters, Rebecca (Myron) Anderson of Monticello, IN, and Robyn (Harold) Hunter of Indianapolis, IN; and her cherished grandchildren: Ryan Hunter, Matthew Anderson, Chelsea Springer, Searra Anderson, John Anderson, and Jacey Anderson. She also leaves behind five beloved cats: Abby, Grey Bones, Sunny, Hope, and Zoey.
Sharon’s warmth, humor, and generosity will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
