It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Sharon Rose Fisher (O'Connor), who passed away peacefully at the age of 85 on November 23, 2025. Sharon was a loving wife, devoted mother, proud grandmother, and great-grandmother, who will be missed by all who knew her.
Sharon was born on December 4, 1939, and grew up in Madison Heights, MI with her parents and two siblings. She spent her life surrounded by the love of her family and friends, and her enduring warmth and laughter were a constant source of comfort and inspiration. Sharon married the love of her life, Joseph I. Fisher, and together they shared a beautiful 65 years of marriage, a partnership built on love, respect, and mutual devotion. Together they built a beautiful life in Clawson, MI where they raised their children.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Joseph I. Fisher, her children: Sally Fisher, Laura Evans, (Jeff), Amy Dunn (Mike). She was also the cherished grandmother to Lauren Evans (Tyler), Jeffrey Evans (Megan), and a proud great-grandmother to Elizabeth and Jackson Evans. She was pre-deceased by her parents John and Dorothy O'Connor, brother Jerry O'Connor, sister Deborah Docherty, and son Joey Fisher.
Throughout her life, Sharon touched countless lives with her gentle kindness and her ability to make everyone feel special. She was a dedicated homemaker, and her caring nature extended beyond her family to all who were fortunate enough to know her. She was a caregiver at heart, dedicated to providing daycare to countless families where she cared for their children like her own. Sharon's unwavering love for her family and her legacy of generosity and joy will live on in the hearts of all those who had the privilege to be a part of her life.
Funeral Services will be held at Lynch & Sons in Clawson, with visitation scheduled on Tuesday, November 25th from 3:00 – 8:00 pm, and Wednesday at 10:00 am, with the funeral beginning at 11:00 am. Immediately following the funeral, she will be laid to rest at Oakview Cemetery in Royal Oak.
