Sharon Ruth (nee Evans) Fryant, 87 of Maineville, passed away on November 9, 2025. Born to Harold O. and Ruth (nee Coleman) Evans on March 24, 1938, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Sharon was a faithful and giving woman. She enjoyed the time she gave to the church from teaching Disciple Bible Study & Sunday School, helping Children’s groups like Vacation Bible School and the Once and Again Childrens Sale, participating in Bell and Chancel Choirs and helping in Faith Ministries. Sharon devoted many hours to churches in Virginia and in Ohio. In 2006 she was given a recognition from Mason United Methodist Church for all her service and dedication. Her children and grandchildren were her biggest sources of love and pride.
She was a1956 graduate of Springfield High School in Springfield, Ohio, a 1960 graduate of Wittenberg University and a 1961 graduate of The School of Medical Technology at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, Ohio. She then went on to work as a medical technologist at the Alexandria Hospital in Alexandria, Virginia for over 30 years. Sharon devoted her extra time to the church and her community. Helping the needy and being a Girl Scout Leader and Camp counselor were some of her favorite things to do.
Preceded in death by her parents and her brothers-in-law, Richard Hadley and Ray Hils.
Sharon is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, John Fryant, daughter Janna Lynne Fryant Morrison and her husband Brock Morrison and son Dave Fryant and his wife Sue (Isenberg) Fryant, her grandchildren, Brendan Morrison, Danielle Fryant, Sage Morrison and Bryce Fryant and sister, Carol Hadley-Hils and well as her nieces and nephews Sue and Chuck McCormick, Robin and Tom Bertone, Eric and Julie Hadley and Pat and Shaela Hadley.
Visitation will be held Friday, November 14th from 5:00-6:00pm with a funeral service at 6:00pm all at Sycamore Presbyterian Church, 11800 Mason Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45249. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, November 15th at 11:00am at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens, 8200 W National Rd, New Carlisle, OH 45344.
Memorial donations may be made in her name to the Alzheimer's Association.
