Sharon "Middlebrooks" Grant

Sharon Grant, age 83, of Muleshoe, Texas, died Sunday, March 29, 2026 in Olton, Texas. She was born October 23, 1942 in Lubbock, Texas to Conrad and Doris (Reid) Middlebrooks. She married C.E. Grant in Lubbock on March 1, 1963.

Sharon wore many hats. She was a cotton buyer at the gin with C.E.; she was on the Muleshoe City Council; she taught GED/ESL classes; and she was a substitute teacher at the schools. Sharon loved to sing and performed at many events and the Senior Citizens center. She enjoyed playing card games and was an avid reader. Sharon's finest quality was being a loving wife and mother to C.E. and her family. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Muleshoe. She is preceded in death by her husband, C.E. and her parents.

Sharon is survived by her two sons, Kevin Grant and Renee of Ft. Sumner, New Mexico and Clay Grant and his wife, Brittni of Muleshoe, Texas; her daughter, Laurey Riney and her husband, Ronny of Olton, Texas; a sister, Jencie Stephens and her husband, James of Idalou, Texas; and her ten grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
