Funeral will be held Friday 8/29/2025, viewing starts at 10am, service at 11am at John W. Keffer Funeral Home 902 Mt Rose Ave York, Pa 17403. Interment will follow at Susquehanna Memorial Gardens.
Sharon was born December 23, 1943 to Edward C. Barnhart and Frances M.L. Barnhart in York, Pa. She graduated from William Penn Senior High School.
Sharon married Nelson Kahler July 11th 1964. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Sharon is survived by her loving husband Nelson Kahler, daughters Melissa L. Kahler, Kimberly C. Ferron, grandson Levi Hayes and granddaughters Meghan L Kahler, Jasmine Murray, Ashley Horn, Santana Hayes.
Sharon will be remembered as a beautiful, loving and caring person. She loved the beach, reading and rescuing Basenjis. She also loved watching wrestling, football and mystery movies.
