Sharon Oglesby, 78, of Mill Creek, North Carolina, closed her eyes peacefully on March 25th at her 2nd home in Maryland and opened them at the long awaited pearly gates of Heaven.
Now how do you put to paper all that Sharon was? There aren’t enough pages to sum up the beautiful story her life had woven together. She was a wife, a daughter, a sister, a mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, friend, a servant.
Sharon had a unique, personal relationship with every person she knew. She had a gift of making each of us feel special and loved. In turn, we all carry a memory, a story, of how she impacted our lives. So when we long to hear her story, we can look to each other. Although she will be greatly missed, we know she will forever continue on, not only in our hearts, but in the imprint she has left on each of us. Her legacy will continue on.
In celebration of Sharon’s life and love of blue birds, the family asks you to wear something blue to the service.
