Obituary
Sharon Perkins, 78, passed away peacefully at the home of her daughter March 11, 2023. She is survived by her children Diana (Michael Mosher) Hayes, Daniel (Rena) Perkins and Doreen (Hamilton) Cadwell; 6 grandchildren Jason, Kyle, Rachel, Melissa, Corey and Ryan; 8 great-grandchildren Carmin, Alexis, Jordis, Anna, Logan, Tyler, Ethan and Thomas; sister Sylvia (John) Battista, son-in-law Donald (Barb) Hayes, daughter-in-law Anita (Andy) Survila; a "son" Robert Sulkoski and her beloved dog Bindy. She was predeceased by her husband Ronald and two sisters Susan and Kathleen Brenchley. Sharon worked with her husband at Perkin's Garage. She was an expert at car detailing and upholstering. She also formerly worked in sales in the Cosmetic Dept at Bon Ton in the Oakdale Mall. Sharon was a former member of Windsor and Osteningo Chapters OES and was past DDGM of the Broome-Chenango District. She was also a former volunteer EMT with the West Windsor Emergency Squad. She had a strong "can-do" attitude and was always there to help anyone who needed her. Sharon also loved dogs and had an adventurous spirit.
A memorial service will be held 11:00 am Saturday at the Harpursville United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends at the church from Saturday from 10:00-10:50 am. Burial will be in Knox Cemetery, Ouaquaga in the spring. The family requests memorials to the BC Humane Society 167 Conklin Ave. Binghamton 13901.
