Sharon Ruffcorn was born on May 3, 1946, in Mondamin, Iowa to Leonard Elvis and Lena Mae (Myers) Ruffcorn. She grew up in the Mondamin area and graduated from Mondamin High School. She worked at Lozier Corporation in Omaha for 35 years and in Fort Calhoun for five years.
Sharon enjoyed reading, sewing and doing crafts. She was also a member of the Harrison County Genealogical Society and loved researching genealogy.
Sharon died on Friday, January 23, 2026, at Azria Health Rose Vista Nursing Home in Woodbine, Iowa at the age of 79 years, eight months and 20 days.
Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Chuck Ruffcorn, and nephew, Jeremiah Lee Ruffcorn. She is survived by her good friends, Patricia Sattoff of Beatrice, Nebraska and Larry Stevens of Mondamin; brother, Ronald Ruffcorn and his wife Charlene of Avoca, Iowa; nephew, Nickolas Ruffcorn and his wife Lisa; two great nieces, Whitney and Danielle and many other relatives and friends.
