Sharon Ann Warner Terrell, 77, of Groves, Texas, passed away on Monday, March 11, 2024, surrounded by family at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont. 

 

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 14, 2024, from 12:30 to 2:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Groves.

 

Funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church on Thursday. Officiating will be Reverend Dr. Joe Worley and Reverend Charles Miller. Burial will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches.

 

Sharon was born in Port Arthur, Texas, on January 28, 1947, to her loving parents, Eloise, and W.C. “Bill” Warner. Sharon retired from PNGISD after thirty years of service. After retirement she worked for several area churches. She was a volunteer at the Medical Center of SETX in Port Arthur. She was also a long-time member of First Baptist Church in Groves. She was especially close to her sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Mary, and Stan Sansom. Sharon was greatly loved and will be missed by the many people who knew her.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents, and her older sister and brother-in-law: Linda and Alfred Garlington.

 

She is survived by her husband of fifty-seven years, John Terrell of Groves, TX; son: Tad Terrell and wife Kim of Groves, TX; daughter: Tina Simmons and husband Marty of Silsbee, TX; brother: Billy Warner of Port Neches, TX; sister: Candy Harrison and husband Darren of Silsbee, TX; six grandchildren: Hunter Terrell, Hayden Terrell, Korbin Simmons, Chandler Simmons, Christian Hearn and husband Kolby, and Hallie Terrell and fiancé Wyatt Girouard; great-grandchildren; Emma Terrell, and soon to be born Weston Hearn; 

 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to First Baptist Church 4000 Grant Avenue Groves, Texas 77619.
