In Loving Memory of Sharon Margaret Thorpe
Sharon Margaret Thorpe, aged 74, passed away peacefully on December 8, 2023. She was born on February 21, 1949, in Muskogee, Oklahoma, to Kay Nails and Margaret. Sharon leaves behind a legacy of love, cherished memories, and a profound impact on the lives of those she touched.
Sharon is survived by her devoted sister, Brenda Caster, and her husband Tom Caster. She is also survived by her loving nephew, Casey Caster, and his wife Tiya Caster, along with their children Kinsleigh Caster, Kaden Prince, and Kash Prince. Sharon's daughter, Shannon Cronk, and granddaughter Courtney, as well as her son, Jeffrey Thorpe, will forever hold her memory close to their hearts.
In addition, she is survived by her nephew Clint Caster and his wife Amber Caster, along with their children Evelynn and Scarlett. Another nephew, Brandon Caster, and his girlfriend Brittany Brown, along with their children Briana Caster and Brittany Caster, also mourn her passing.
Sharon was preceded in death by her beloved son, Roddy Cronk, and her brother, Ronnie Nails. While their absence is deeply felt, Sharon's family takes solace in the knowledge that she is now reunited with her loved ones who have gone before her.
Sharon's joy was found in the simple pleasures of life. She cherished moments spent playing with her dear Kinsleigh, who was her everything, her "baby girl." Sharon will be remembered as a Kinsleigh's loving "Shay Shay".
A woman of varied interests, Sharon found solace in the pages of books, the beauty of collected rocks, and the captivating stories presented on screen. Her sister was her constant companion in these pursuits, and together they enjoyed countless hours immersed in the world of literature, nature, and crime shows. Sharon's passion for San Jose Sharks hockey was evident in her spirited game-watching sessions with her favorite nephew, Casey.
Sharon Thorpe was a beloved presence in the lives of those fortunate enough to know her. Her warmth, kindness, and love will be dearly missed. Though she may no longer be with us in person, her spirit lives on in the hearts and memories of all who were privileged to share in her life.
Per Sharon's request there will be a small private family service.
