Sharon Tomosovich Obituary
Sharon Marie Tomosovich passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family on November 24, 2025, in Virginia Beach, Virginia, at the age of 67. She was born on July 7, 1958, in Staten Island, New York to the late Rita and Eugene Hambrick. Also preceding her in death was her former husband, Kenneth Tomosovich.
Sharon was a woman of warmth and vivacity, known for her love of life and her generous spirit. An avid gardener, she found joy and tranquility in nurturing her plants, creating beauty wherever she went. Her home was always filled with laughter and the aroma of delicious meals, as she loved entertaining and welcoming guests. To Sharon, there were no strangers-only friends she had yet to meet. She was truly the life of the party, bringing joy and energy to every gathering.
Her love for the beach was unparalleled. Sharon never missed an opportunity to enjoy a day by the ocean, go on a boating adventure with friends and family, or pick crabs in the summertime with those she loved. Her beach days were legendary, as she packed a cooler like no one else, with her characteristic flair and attention to detail.
Above all, Sharon's greatest joy in life was her family, especially her beloved granddaughters. As their cherished MeMe, she adored them beyond measure and treasured every moment spent with them.
Left to cherish her memory are her children: Shane Hambrick (Elizabeth), Taylor Wilkinson (Drew), and Morgan Tomosovich (Gary); her granddaughters: Eva, Madeline, Palmer, and Blake; her siblings: Eugene Hambrick, Jr., Donna Steward (Dom), and David Hambrick; and her treasured dog, Holly, whom she adopted after the passing of her precious Grace last October. She is also survived by many extended relatives and countless friends who will forever remember her kindness and zest for life.
A gathering to celebrate Sharon's life will be held from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 3, 2025 at Festival on 8th located at 712 Atlantic Avenue, Virginia Beach, VA 23451.
In remembering Sharon, we celebrate a life filled with love, laughter, and a generous spirit that touched all who knew her. Her legacy of kindness and joy will continue to live on in the hearts of those she loved.
