Sharon Rose (Troxell) Soderbom, Age 57 of, Scottsburg, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, July 16, 2025, at Baptist Health Louisville with her loving family by her side. Born on May 31, 1968, in Shelbyville Kentucky, she was the daughter of Johnny and Dottie (Morrow) Troxell. Sharon devoted her life to the care of her six grandchildren. She loved them with all her heart, and enjoyed every second spent with them. Although she struggled with many health issues, she found joy in the little things in life, like listening to music, thrift shopping and going to the casino. Sharon was preceded in death by her brother, Bruce “Blue” Troxell.
In addition to her parents, Sharon is survived by her daughters, Katherine Jones (Ryan) and Jennifer Davisson, both of Scottsburg; her six grandchildren, Addyson, Zoe, Elizabeth, Michael, Matthew and Freya; her brothers, Wade Troxell (Christy) of New Castle and Phillip Troxell (Liz) of Burnside.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 1 PM on Monday, July 21, 2025, at Beckley Funeral Home with Reverend Jerry Anderson Officiating. Visitation will be held from 11 AM on Monday, July 21, 2025, at Beckley Funeral Home until the time of service. Interment will follow at Pleasureville Cemetery. To honor Sharon’s memory, memorial contributions may be made to Beckley Funeral Home to help the family with final expenses. With Care and Professionalism, arrangements are under the direction of Beckley Funeral Home.
