November 2, 2025
Sharon Kay Tyler, beloved mother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on November 2, 2025. She was the cherished daughter of the late Charles Lescallett Sr. Sharon is survived by her mother, Donna Lescallett; her devoted son, Thomas Benton Tyler III, and his wife, Sarah King Tyler; and her loving siblings, Charles Lescallett Jr. and Carole Novak.
Sharon loved and was loved by her family, friends, and many pets. She was a lifelong resident of Parkville, graduating from Parkville High School in 1975. Sharon was an entrepreneur, owning Wallpaper World for over 30 years. She was a compassionate daughter, caring for her mother, Donna Lescallett, full-time after her retirement. Sharon adored animals — dogs, cats, birds, bunnies — all types could find solace under her roof. She fostered countless dogs over the last few years, working with The Hero Rescue of Jarrettsville.
A celebration of life for family and close friends will be held at Lassahn Funeral Home (7401 Belair Road, Nottingham, MD 21236) on Saturday, November 22nd, with visitation beginning at 12:30 p.m. and the memorial service following at 1:00 p.m. A reception will follow at Das Bierhalle (9527 Harford Road, Parkville, MD 21234) from 2:30–5:30 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made in honor of Sharon Tyler to The Hero Rescue.
