Sharon Weber was born in Dawson, MN on October 18, 1948 to John and Pauline Stevanus. Her family moved to South Dakota in 1949, moving around a bit until they settled in the Goodwin/Waverly area. The family ran the grocery store in Waverly for a number of years.
Sharon and Bob Weber were united in marriage in 1966 and then moved to the farm where Bob lived. Sharon worked at home on the farm; gardening, milking cows and canning. Their daughter, Cheri was born in 1966 and son, Dale followed in 1969. Sharon worked off the farm for many years to make ends meet.
