Sharon Westhoff, age 83, was surrounded by her beloved family as she passed away on Friday, August 8, 2025, in her home.
Sharon was born May 5, 1942, in Bellingham Washington to Anton and Hilda (Hills) Holmquist.
On October 4, 1958, she married Fred Westhoff and together they settled in Everson, Washington. Fred and Sharon took over the Westhoff family farm where they raised their five children. Sharon was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with her family baking, camping and riding horses. Sharon loved going to the family home at Birch Bay Village, relaxing and enjoying the sun. She blessed her family in so many ways, she loved to serve.
Sharon was a lifetime member of Nooksack Valley Reformed Church.
Sharon is preceded in death by her husband Fred, sisters Dorothy Ketchum and Carol Meyers, and parents Anton and Hilda Holmquist.
Sharon will be greatly missed by her children Earl (Renee) Westhoff, Clarence (Brianne) Westhoff, Terry (Janie) Westhoff, Connie (Tom) Weinheimer, and JoAnne (Dennis) Larson; grandchildren Dustin, Greg (Wilaene), Brandon, Courtney (Leif), Blake, Josh (Shauna), McKinna (Garrett), Trevon (Savannah), Jared (McKinsey), and Sydney (Caleb); great grandchildren Mady, Gunner, Lily, Jett, Boden, Anders, Charlotte and Bjorn; and brother, Gerald (Lorraine) Holmquist.
The family wishes to thank Whatcom Hospice and for their loving and tender care.
A family burial will be at Lakeside Cemetery on Tuesday, August 19, 2025, beginning at 1 p.m. followed by a memorial service at 2 p.m. at Nooksack Valley Reformed Church, with Marv Tjoelker officiating.
Memorials are suggested to Whatcom Hospice Foundation, 2901 Squalicum Parkway, Bellingham, WA 98225.
