My heart felt condolences to Connie's family. I worked with Connie at NAVAIR for nearly ten years. I also worked closely with her sister, Robin, for about four years. I last saw Connie in Orlando, FL at ASMC PDI convention. Will miss her dearly. I will continue to keep the family in my prayers.

Family, my heartfelt sympathy is being sent your way... Connie was my bus companion on the #909 route to/from DC. She was a very sweet person that simply loved her family. There was not a day that went by that I didn't hear about her mom, her sister Robin, her son Vaughn, his wife and her grandchild. Although I don't really know any of you, I feel like I know you through our conversations. I saw her once after she stopped working... although it was a brief encounter, she didn't miss the opportunity to talk about her family. Please be assured that you all were the apple of her eye. Rest in peace my friend as the battle is over. You will be missed.

I had only met Connie for a short time after helping Vaughn in the purchase of his vehicle. I found out that her dream car was to own an Audi. She fell in love with one that I had. She was a pistol. Very specific of her needs. I will always remember her.To Vaughn,It can be so hard to face the first year without your loved one, but the love of family and friends can carry you through.

Mrs. Briscoe, Vaughn and Vivian: My prayers are with you and your family in your time of sorrow. I worked with Connie at NAVAIR and BUMED and she took me under her wing at BUMED and took care of me on our commute back and forth every day. Since I was transplanted to Maryland and far from "home", it felt good when Connie called me "family". I will miss her very much.

So sorry to hear that my friend Connie passed away. We worked together at NAVAIR; bldg 2272 back in 2002. She was a sweet person and a wonderful momma to her son. She came to visit me a couple of times at my house; but, wouldn't come in because she was afraid of my doberman pincher dog, Angel. She was so funny!! Connie taught me a lot about being a BFM at NAVAIR. I will miss her!!! My thoughts and prayers are with the family!! God bless you all!!! --Marcia Koeppe Gulledge

My condolences to Connie's family. Connie was one of the sweetest people I know. I first met Connie when I started working for NAVAIR. I remember her asking about my family and I gave her some of my siblings names and she said she knew my sister Pauleen from school. I remember her saying Pauleen is cool so you're alright with me. She took me under her wing and looked out for me. We enrolled in some of the same college courses so that we could study together. I have fond memories of her. I also remember that she was so happy when she married Mike. I was so happy for her. She missed him so much after he passed. I hope that you can take comfort in knowing that when Connie left this world her sister and her husband were waiting for her with open arms. Please know that you are in my thoughts and my prayers family.
