On October 27, 2025, at approximately 8:45 p.m. Sharron Jones received her wings.
Mrs. Sharron Coleman Jones was born in Mobile, Alabama September1, 1954 to the late Jimmie
Lee and Evergreen Coleman. The angels summoned her home to be with the Lord on Monday,
October 27, 2025.
Sharron accepted Christ at an early age and united with Mount Carmel Baptist Church where she
attended faithfully as a child alongside her parents and siblings.
Sharron graduated from Mattie T. Blount Class of 1972. After graduation she furthered her
education at Weaver Airline School for a stewardess (flight attendant). Sharron had many dreams
and aspirations one of which was to work for the FBI, but she ultimately found her calling in the
Medical Field. She became a phlebotomist and proudly served as a Lab Technician Supervisor at
Internal Medicine for over 15 years. Sharron was known for affectionately by those who loved
her. She was a showstopper, full of life, laughter, and personality.
She was preceded in death by her parents Jimmie Lee Coleman Sr. and Evergreen Coleman, one
brother Jimmie Coleman Jr., and one sister Viola Coleman. Sharron leaves to cherish her
memories a devoted husband of 34 years Mr. Edward Jones. She has two devoted daughters
Tamyra York Smith of Mobile, AL and Monica Beard (Lamar Beard Sr.) of Forth Worth, TX.
Additionally, Sharron had five bonus children: Sharitye Renee Seay, Altovise Curtis, Nicole
Wallace, Edward Wallace (Tonashe Wallace) and Anthony Jones (Monique Jones). She had four
loving grandchildren, one great grandchild, and several bonus grandchildren. Sharron has three
siblings: Henry Coleman (Betty), Georgia McCarver (Reginald), and Dwain Coleman. She
leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives, and friends who will forever
remember her strength, humor and love. Sharron vibrant spirit and beautiful legacy will live on
in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
