Shasmine Clack departed this world on February 1, 2025, at the age of 31. She was a cherished daughter, sister, mother, aunt, niece, cousin, and friend whose love, compassion, and kindness touched the lives of everyone fortunate enough to know her.
Shasmine Clack was born on August 31, 1993, in Kingsville, TX, to Shontay Lawrence and Shawn Clack, where she was raised. At the age of 15, she relocated to Austin, TX. She completed her schooling at Del Valle High School. Shasmine made friends everywhere she went; she was the life of the party. She was well known for her dance moves and her kind and funny personality-she was sure to make you laugh.
Shasmine helped everyone that she could; she loved to give back and be a blessing to others. She loved her children very much, and they were her reason to live. She made sure they didn't go without. People also knew her as "Shas the Reader"-she loved the work she did and adored her clients. She set trends and loved the color pink since childhood. Shasmine wasn't afraid to be bold, from her hair to her clothes, nails, and shoes. She was a handful sometimes, but she was still an amazing daughter and sister.
Shasmine Clack is preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Patricia Bryan; paternal grandparents Jonell Clack and Marvin Colman; and her cousin Raul Garcia Jr., whom she joins in eternal rest.
She is survived by her mother, Shontay Lawrence; her sisters Shantell Clack, Shawnice Clack, Jazlyn Gonzales, and Raven Brooks; her children Terranae, Jaceon, Aleijah, Kalise, and Azeonna; her aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and Godmother Lois Craig; several family members and friends who will carry her memory in their hearts forever.
Her spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her. She may be gone from our sight, but her love and the lessons she imparted will remain with us always. May she rest in eternal peace.
