Mrs. Shawna Elaine Norton Britt

Mrs. Shawna Elaine Britt, age 35, of Locust Grove, Georgia passed away January 2, 2013. Shawna was born in Clayton County and graduated from Jonesboro High School Class of 1996. She received her BS degree from Georgia State University. Shawna enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She was an avid sports fan, very athletic and she enjoyed playing softball. Survivors are her husband, Dewey Britt of Locust Grove; daughter, Graycen Britt of Locust Grove; parents Timmy and Debbie Norton of Fayetteville; grandparents, Sue and Gene Godfrey of Hampton and Lucy Bryson of Fayetteville; mother and father-in-law, Joan and Dewey Wayne Britt Sr. of Locust Grove; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Funeral service for Shawna will be Saturday, January 5, 2013 – 11:00 AM in the chapel of Haisten Funeral Home with Rev. Gene Sheffield officiating. Interment will be at Haisten/Eastlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday evening from 6 – 8:00 PM.
