It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Shawna Heather Jackson, age 55, of Prescott Valley, Arizona, who passed away peacefully on January 21, 2026.

Shawna was born on March 5, 1970, in Tucson, Arizona, to Carl and Kathy Crow. Early in her childhood, she moved to Winterset, Iowa, where she was raised and later graduated from Winterset High School in 1988. Shawna spent most of her life in Winterset before relocating to Prescott Valley in 2025.

Shawna was the beloved wife of 30 years to Joel Jackson and a devoted mother to her children, Trey and Jordan Jackson. She was a loving daughter, sister, aunt, and friend whose warmth and kindness touched everyone who knew her.

Shawna had a lifelong love of sunshine and the outdoors. She found joy in gardening, traveling to warm destinations, and spending time outside. Above all, she treasured time with her family, cherishing gatherings filled with laughter, love, and shared memories. She also had a deep affection for her pets, especially her beloved dogs-Bono, Mia, and Tucker.

Shawna is survived by her father, Carl, of Prescott Valley, Arizona; her son, Trey (Jami), and daughter, Jordan, both of Winterset, Iowa; her siblings, Laura Crow and Jenny Crow of Prescott, Arizona, and Logan Crow of Ottumwa, Iowa; as well as nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Kathy Crow, and her grandparents, William and Mildred Redden.

Shawna will be deeply missed, but her legacy of love, generosity, and compassion will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her.

Details regarding a celebration of life will be shared by the family at a later date.
