Seven years have passed since you left the confines of this world. Is that like seven minutes in terms of eternity or seventy years in grief for those she was close to their heart? Praying today for those who loved her and remembering the positive impact her lifetime had on others. May we all make every day count for good like Sheila!

WOW! Never thought I'd be writing about my sister and how much I miss her!!! There's not a day that passes that I don't think about her. Sheila was my best friend on many levels. She taught me many things that I'll always treasure. She was the best cheerleader for anyone whether personal or professional. She was a woman who strived for excellence and overcoming. She did just that. Sheila had a deep love and concern for others well being. She was an great wife, mother, sister, daughter, friend and nurse. All the things I admired and learned from her hold true to my heart today and for always. I love her still and know she's having the time of life with Jesus and our Mother. I miss her!!! I will continue to pray for Rusty and R.J. as they continue their own journey. Love you both!

My thoughts and prayers are with Sheila's family tonight. I want them to know how much I admired Sheila
..she was the best nurse I have ever known. She went on to be the best unit director. No one has ever been more respected and loved at a job that was really hard to do. Love you too Sheila!

The world is a little less bright without Sheila in it. Tough as nails, heart of gold, amazing sense of humor, and simply one of the best nurses I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. So sorry for your loss and prayers for the family.

To the family,
I am in total shock. Was scrolling through the obituaries and to my surprise, this is what I stumbled upon.
Words can not express my feelings right now, but the Sheila Barrett I had the pleasure of working with and meeting, she would not want any of us to be sad about her home going. Celebrate her life in the way that she lived and that is with joy and a smile. Always upbeat and positive, willingness to help anyone didn't matter if she knew them or not.
Her life touched many lives and she will forever be in my thoughts and her family will be in my prayers.
