Sheila Marie Chriesman, born on October 15, 1962, in Texarkana, Arkansas, passed away on December 17, 2025, in Dallas, Texas. She was a devoted Certified Nursing Assistant, focusing her care and compassion on the residents of the nursing home where she worked. Her vibrant personality and innate ability to connect with others made her a beloved figure in her community.
Sheila was known for being outgoing and a true people person, always welcoming new connections and fostering lasting friendships. She frequently volunteered at the Rosiland Recreation Center, illustrating her deep commitment to serving others. Her love for life was evident in her passions; she delighted in skating, cherished rhythm and blues music, and explored her artistic side through painting and coloring.
Among her proudest accomplishments were her family and, in particular, her cherished grandchildren, who brought her immense joy. Sheila was a warm presence in the lives of those who knew her, and her memory will forever be treasured by all.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during the viewing service on January 2, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Golden Gate Funeral Home-Dallas, located at 4155 S R. L. Thornton Fwy, Dallas, TX 75224. A funeral service will follow on January 3, 2026, at 1:00 PM at the Allene Chapel of Golden Gate Funeral Home-Dallas.
Sheila’s legacy of kindness, creativity, and dedication to her family and community will remain in the hearts of those she has touched.
