Sheila Flaherty Obituary

Sheila Flaherty passed away on September 24, 2024, at the young age of 59 surrounded by her loved ones. Born on May 31, 1965, Sheila was a beacon of love and kindness, touching the lives of many with her generous spirit and warm presence.

Sheila embodied a spirit of compassion and resilience, characteristics that endeared her to everyone she met. Known for her great sense of humor and fun-loving nature, she enjoyed music, attending services at Gospel Baptist Church, and simply spending time with her loved ones. Sheila was particularly devoted to her family, cherishing moments with her daughter Shannon, her grandchildren, and her extended family.

Sheila is survived by her loving spouse, Wayne Flaherty; her mother, Sandra Sereno; her siblings, Darcy Pratt, Crystal Sereno, and Lily Poulicakos, along with sister-in-law Nancy Pratt. Her children, Shannon Phelps, Kristen Phelps, Johnny, Timothy, and Isaiah, also survive her. Sheila was a proud grandmother to Steven Jr. and Chance. Her aunts Tina Sereno and Lisa Desruisseaux, along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends, will also hold her memory dear. Sheila was preceded in death by her grandparents, Rose Grace (Allard) Sereno and Angelo Peter Sereno, and uncles John and Jimmy Sereno.

A service to celebrate Sheila's life will be held at Gospel Baptist Church, located at 52 Concord St, Manchester, NH, on Friday, September 27, 2024, at 4:00 pm. Those who knew Sheila will remember her as a loving mother, sister, daughter, wife, and grandmother a true Angel whose legacy of love and strength will forever resonate in the hearts of those she touched.
