I had the pleasure of working with Shelia in the TFSD. I started as a substitute and the notes she left for the person filling her shoes that day were so amazing! When I was hired, I followed that lead from her and praised her every time I saw her for being so helpful and kind to everyone. She was a bright light and I feel honored to have worked with her. You are all in my prayers.

I was so saddened to read of Shelia´s death. I have such precious memories of our time together in Germany. I have retold many of those stories. Chip and I had some blessed times talking about our friends. I shall hold you in my heart and look forward to all 4 of us strolling through the Garden one beautiful evening. Aaron, may God wrap His arms around you and give you peace. I hope she gets a hug from Chip. Love and hugs, Lou

My Dear second Baptist First Lady Sister Gibson. Words cannot express how I felt the day I heard about your transition to be with the LORD. I PRAY GOD'S STRENGTH TO THE GIBSON FAMILY. I REMEMBER YOU ENCOURAGING ME TO SING A SOLO WITH THE MALE CHORUS. YOU HAD ME SING YOUR FAVORITE SONG. "STAY ON THE BOAT". EVERYTIME I SING THAT SONG I WILL BE THINKING OF YOU AND MY FIRST PASTOR AARON N. GIBSON. TILL WE MEET AGAIN. SIS. ISABEL JASMINE AND BIANCA ALSO SENDS THEIR CONDOLENCES TO THE GIBSON AND SECOND BAPTIST CHURCH FAMILY.

Sheila was my best friend at Edmondson High School in Baltimore. Her parents' home was my second home. Sheila was a kind and thoughtful friend. We sang on Edmondson's choir. She sang soprano while I sang alto. We had a wonderful time at Edmondson. We continued being friends throughout our lives. Sheila loved her family tremendously. I am blessed to have had Sheila in my life. Tarrie Barnes
