With sadness we share that Sheila Zuchowicz/ Hamerslagh passed away on 9/25/16. Sheila was in the presence of her family and close friends when she found her final peace and resting place. It was a beautiful moment when Sheila lovingly said goodbye to her daughters & husband Dale, and then told them she was going to see her mother 'Mimi'.

Sheila was born July 30th, 1955 in Hayward Ca. and grew up in Camarillo, Ca. Sheila graduated from Camarillo High School. Sheila was married to Howard Peppito, and after a brief stay in Minot North Dakota, the two relocated to Camarillo, Ca. to raise their family. Sheila found work at Thinlite Corporation in Camarillo, where she continued to work for almost 30 years. Following, Sheila was married to Dale Hamerslagh in 2003.

Sheila will be remembered for her high level of energy, entertaining as a generous host, and some pretty rowdy family poker games. She also developed her artistic talents through ceramics, toll painting and carried on her mother's Green Thumb with bountiful gardens. Nothing in life mattered more to Sheila than her 5 Grandsons. You would often hear her say "if you mess with my grandsons I will send you to the moon."

Sheila is survived by her husband Dale Hamerslagh, Daughters Shelly & husband Doug Thaxton & Stacy & husband Jason Graham, 5 Grandsons- Clayton, Wyatt and Mason Thaxton & Connor and Carson Graham. Sheila is also survived by her father Papa "Zuke" Zuchowicz and her beloved sister Sherry Wellman and husband Bill Wellman and Sherry's children Johnny Jensen and Julie Jensen.
