Ms. Locklear was born January 23, 1949 in Rockmart, Georgia to Mr. John William Shackleford and Mrs. Mary Maureen Brown Shackleford. Ms. Locklear worked as a custodian for Paulding County School District for over 30 years. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and daughter.
She was preceded in death by: Son, Jason Holmes, Grandson, Kelden Holmes; Parents, Mr. and Mrs. John William (Mary Maureen Brown) Shackleford.
She is survived by; Son, Mr. and Mrs. Michael (Lee Ann) Locklear; Son, Mr. Mark Holmes; Son, Mr. and Mrs. Art (Tammy) Holmes; Grandchildren, Kristen Holmes, Anna Holmes, Stephanie Holmes, Logan Holmes, Karli Holmes, Kale Holmes; Many Great Grandchildren; Sister, Ms. Gail Jones, Typhani Ashlock; Brother, Mr. Ricky Shackleford; Nieces and Nephews.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Locklear will be held Friday, July 11, 2025, 3:00 P.M. at Benson Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Yorkville Memory Gardens.
Visitation for Mrs. Locklear will be Friday, July 11, 2025, 1:00 - 3:00 P.M. at Benson Funeral Home.
