Sheila K. Martin, 79, of Washburn, IL, passed away at 4:49 am on Monday, December 22, 2025, at Carle Health-Methodist Hospital in Peoria, IL.
She was born on June 30, 1946, in Creve Coeur, IL, to John and Zelma (Buchanan) Drenth. She married Charles L. Martin on July 25, 1970.
Surviving are her loving husband and caregiver, Charles of Washburn; daughter, Pam (Andy) Winkler of Maryville, IL; granddaughters, Christa (Bre) Winkler of Collinsville, IL and Tara (Tyler) Burnett of Eureka, MO; and great-grandchildren, Charlotte and Aiden. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, and two sisters.
Sheila loved her flowers! She had a special knack in growing and keeping her flowers beautiful. She loved all wildlife, especially the animals that came to visit on the back porch. She had many cats on the farm throughout the years but Cody and Diane were her favorites. She also loved her green Mustang car.
