Sheila Nash, of Ridgefield CT, passed away peacefully on Friday August 15, 2025. Sheila was born on November 20, 1933, in the Bronx NY to David and Nettie Witkin.
Sheila was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. She will be remembered by all for her unwavering love for her family, and the joy she brought to all who knew her.
She is survived by her children Ron (and Linda) and Shari (and Lloyd), her grandchildren Matthew (and Adrienne), Emily (and Austin), and Juliet, and her great-grandchildren Luke, Clara, and Emmett, her sister Deanna Hume and many other family members and friends who cherished her deeply. She was preceded in death by her beloved spouse Bernie.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday, August 17, 2025, at Ballard-Durand Funeral Home in White Plains, NY. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Common Sense for Animals or 914 Cares.
The nightly ceremony in Washington, D.C. will be dedicated in honor of your loved one on the day of your choosing.
