Sheila D. Niewiadomski, 60, a lifelong resident of Painesville Township, passed away on Thursday, February 19, 2026.

Born on September 7, 1965, Sheila was the beloved daughter of the late Robert and Marilyn Knight, and married the love of her life, Phil Niewiadomski, on April 27, 1985.

Sheila was a devoted mother to Laura (Dane) Carroll, Jason (Michelle) Niewiadomski, and Angie (Phil) Samsonas. She was a proud and loving grandmother to Caitlyn, Lucas, Dominik, Landon, Charlie, Colton, and Jaxon; and was a beloved sister, aunt and friend to many.

Sheila was preceded in death by her loving husband, Phil Niewiadomski; and her parents.

She loved, cooking, gardening, and nothing brought her more joy than being "the world's best grandma," a title she wore with pride and love. Sheila especially treasured vacations with her family and the many memories they created together. Her warmth, strength, and unwavering love for her family will be remembered always.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the UH Lake West ICU Team for their compassionate care.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, March 1st, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at 1025 Hardy Road, Painesville, Ohio 44077.

Flowers may be sent to the family at, 910 Bellvue Dr, Painesville, OH 44077, and will be present at the service. Donations may be made in her name to PetFix Northeast Ohio, 885 E. 222nd Street, Euclid, Ohio 44123.

Sheila will be deeply missed and forever loved by all who knew her.
