Sheila Rae O'Neal Rothe, 78, passed away on Jan 13, 2023, in
Billings, Montana.
Sheila was born in
Colby, Kansas on November 6, 1944 to Lillian and Ray O'Neal. She graduated from Oakley High School and attended Colorado State College. It was there that she met her future husband, Ronald Rothe. Ron and Sheila married on September 6, 1964 and spent 46 years together before Ron's death in 2010.
Sheila was a devoted homemaker, mother and grandmother. Sheila enjoyed knitting, crocheting and bowling. Her biggest joy was watching her grandchildren play sports and celebrating their milestones.
Sheila is survived by her sister, Pat Bonner, of
Altoona, Kansas. She is survived by her son Terry and his wife Sandy; her daughter Rhonda King and her husband Bret; her daughter Cassandra Cochran and her husband Eddie; 15 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and 1 on the way.
A celebration of life will be held in May in
Billings, Montana. Sheila will be buried beside her husband in Sunset Memorial Cemetery in
Greeley, Colorado. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Casa of Yellowstone County, yellowstonecasa.org.
