Sheila Marie Vanisko, born March 27, 1939, in Butte, MT, passed away peacefully in Anaconda, MT, on October 13, 2025.
A loving and caring woman, Sheila found joy in the simple pleasures of life, especially being with family, her faith, and Sunday drives around the local area. Those who knew her well will forever remember her as one of the kindest people to have ever graced their lives.
Sheila's kindness, gentle nature, and deep love for her family will remain in our hearts always. She will be dearly missed by her family, but her memory will live on in their hearts.
Sheila is survived by her loving daughter, Jill; son, Kevin (Rhodalyn); her cherished grandchildren, Brittany and Kyle Vanisko; sister, Suze; sister-in-law, Patricia Thompson; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John; parents, Charles and Helen Krause; and her brother, Chuck Krause.
She leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness that will never be forgotten.
A Visitation will be held from 9 to 9:45 a.m., on Friday, October 17, 2025, at Longfellow Funeral Home, 107 Oak St., Anaconda, Montana, with a Funeral Liturgy starting at 10 a.m. Interment will follow, starting at 11 a.m., at the New Hill Cemetery, on Stumptown Road, Anaconda.
