SPENCER-Sheila M. (Hutton) Verdini, 74, passed away Sunday, February 22.
She leaves her sons, James Verdini of Spencer, Gregory Pelosi of Taunton and her grandson whom she raised as her son, Anthony Verdini and his wife, Melissa of Millbury; as well as her other three grandchildren, Mackenzie Verdini, Chloe Verdini and Amanda Pelosi; two great-grandchildren, Autumn and Asher; and two siblings, Jim Bartlett and Faith O’Neil. A son, Shawn Verdini predeceased her. She was born in Worcester, daughter of Graham H. and Barbara M. (Nystrom) Hutton and graduated from Burncoat Memorial High School.
She was a manager at Pleasant Acre Nursing Home, prior to that she owned and operated two Flower Shops in Worcester. In her retirement she worked part time for Dynamics Corporation. Sheila truly had a green thumb, and her passion was flowers and working in her garden. She also loved spending summer days on the beaches of Cape Cod.
Funeral and Burial Services will be held privately.
