Sheldon A. O'Harra

Sheldon A. O'Harra, 96, of Pickerington, Ohio passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 15, 2023. He was born in Columbus, Ohio on February 11, 1927 to Sheldon and Margaret (Newton) O'Harra. He was a Veteran of the United States Army and proudly served in World War II. He, also, served in the brotherhood of the Freemasons in the Masonic Lodge. He had many hobbies such as working on cars, photography, and fishing. He enjoyed traveling, especially if he could go and explore with his metal detector. Oh, the treasures he would find. Most of all he loved and cherished his family.
He is preceded in death by his parents Sheldon and Margaret O'Harra; wife Dorothy (Palmore) O'Harra; sister Patty O'Harra and brother Dick O'Harra.
He is survived by daughter Pamela (Keith) Cline; grandchildren Chad, Christopher, and Timothy Cline and Courtney Swisher; great-grandchildren Mckenzie and Mason Cline and Theodore and Chandler Swisher and many more extended family members and friends.
His family will receive friends Tuesday, November 21 from 11:30 am - 12:00 pm at Cotner Funeral Home, 7369 East Main Street, Reynoldsburg, Ohio 43068 followed by his funeral service at 12pm with Pastor Ed Mckee officiating. Interment, with Military Honors, will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
