Sheldon Willow Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Kenyon Funeral Home, Inc. - Elkland on Jan. 19, 2026.
Sheldon Eugene Willow, Sr., age 81 of Tioga, PA went to be with the Lord on January 14, 2026. He was born on March 15, 1944 in Corning, NY and was a son to the late Clyde and Eleanora (Perigo) Willow. Sheldon married Mary A. Robbins on August 2, 1966 in Elkland, PA, building a life and family together for 59 loving years.
Sheldon was a truck driver for several years, trucking all across the states in his tractor trailer and he was even self-employed running his own trucking business for a handful of years. He proudly served in the United States Marines from 1961 - 1965. He enjoyed playing cards especially poker, tending to his vegetable garden, and drinking his morning coffee with his wife. Sheldon was a proud gardener and liked giving his produce to others in the community. For several years he was a member of the Corning American Legion, Mansfield VFW and the Elkland Moose. It was said Sheldon was a people person and he always wanted to be out and about going anywhere but staying at home.
Sheldon is survived by his loving wife, Mary Willow of Tioga, PA; son, Sheldon (Jennifer) Willow II of Osceola, PA; grandchildren, Jessica Saxbury of Osceola, Anthony (Sara) Saxbury of Nelson, PA, Amanda (Colin) Heck of Ulysses, PA, and Ashley Willow of Wilmington, NC; great grandchildren, Ava and Liam Heck; sisters, Gloria Willow of Ulysses and Sharon Ahearn of Harrison Valley, PA; several nieces, nephews and cousins; and close friends, the Lambert Family. He was preceded in death by both his parents; a daughter, Shelia Willow; and a sister, Elaine Westcott.
Per his wishes, no services are to be held. He will be laid to rest at the Bath VA National Cemetery. Family will hold a celebration of life at a later date. Memorial donations can be made to Kenyon Funeral Home, 214 W. Main St., Elkland, PA 16920, to help the family during this time. Arrangements are in the care of Kenyon Funeral Home, Inc.
